Lutong Toyo

Ingredients:

1 kilo pork kasim
5 whole garlic
cooking oil
salt & pepper
soy sauce
1 dozen eggs
bay leaf o laurel leaf




Cooking Procedure:

1. Boil the eggs until it become hardboiled. Then, remove its shell and put it on a separate
container.
2. Combine all the rest of the ingredients except for the cooking oil, in a pot and let stand for at
least 30 minutes.
3. Simmer covered until meat is tender. Drain and reserve sauce.
4. Heat cooking oil in skillet. Brown meat on all sides. Transfer to a serving dish.
5. Pour off all remaining oil from skillet. Add reserved sauce and cook for a minute or two
scraping all browned bits sticking to pan.
6. Put the boiled eggs into the sauce.
7. Pour sauce over meat and serve with the hard-boiled eggs.
